Just a thought, I have a junky old laptop that I love to toss in my backpack and take with me. But it's very slow. These types of web-based programs are nice because they are not very processor intensive, and yet allow you to do (simple) editing with just a browser.
Seems to me these technologies are suitable for low-powered computers, which is, in my opinion, the next direction of mobile computing.
