Something weird happened to this post! Somehow John typed over the text that Courtney and I had originally posted here (see below), which was a link to our online evaluation. Very strange. This should be a cautionary tale - anyone who has "admin" status can edit/delete/re-write anyone else's posts. So it may not be a good idea to give students "admin" status!

I just wanted to mention that the talks given during the "happy hour" were not all that useful. I did enjoy, however, the discussion about whether technology is opening new types of learning verses replacing older techniques. Maybe next year, the teaching certificates can be handed out before the speeches.
